Jason's Story

Before starting Henfruit, I earned a great living as a financial analyst. But I was quickly lured into the trap of lifestyle inflation — an oversized home, luxury car, and other purchases that consumed nearly all of my income.

Risking everything to start my first advisory firm, I wasn’t prepared when the financial crisis hit in 2008. And soon I found myself in trouble.

Luckily, I was offered a great opportunity in Chicago. So I moved across the country. I cleaned up my finances by downsizing my lifestyle and living off half of my income. It wasn’t easy, but I managed to take back control of my finances. And so can you.

After 15 years in the financial services industry, I longed to make a greater impact. And I began searching for my "why".

Years of working with wealthy clients made me realize most people have limited access to help with their money. Especially Generation X & Generation Y.

So I left my comfortable, six-figure job in Chicago to help fill this gap. And that’s how Henfruit was born.

How are we different? Technology helps keep overhead costs low. And that savings is passed along to the client. Plus, it’s easy and efficient to work with clients from all over the country.
